Each member’s term expires every three years on March 31. The membership shall be representative of the community. All members must be electors of the township. The Commission is responsible for the Township’s Master Plan, the Capital Improvements Program, subdivision & site plan reviews, and conducting public hearings & providing recommendations to the Township Board. There shall be 9 members of the commission. The Delta Township Planning Commission is organized & operates as per the provisions of Public Act 33 of 2008, being the Michigan Planning Enabling Act.
